The Learning Tree Multi-Cultural School (TLTMS) is a non-profit 501(c)3 elementary/middle school (Kindergarten through eighth grade). We are located in a high risk district (district 30/Region 4) of Queens, New York that benefit low income, at risk academic students. Our curriculum instructs students in reading, writing, social studies, science, language arts, mathematics, global studies, Black History, foreign language, logic, abstract reasoning, critical thinking, technology, instrumental music, performing arts and social development.
Special programs include Bilingual/ESL Education, Student Banking for all grades, Entrepreneurship and Pre-Law for grades five through eight, College Mentorship for grades six through eight a Stock Market Program and our Multimedia Communication Program.
Upon graduation, over 95% of TLTMS students qualify for admission to top high schools and boarding schools, and continue to maintain high academic standards for colllege enrollment. We have students who are either attending or has completed college (Harvard University, Morgan State University, Howard University, Fisk University, Queens College, Johnson C. Smith University and North Carolina State University).
